First I soak the chain over night in a mixture of 1 cup of ammonia to 1 gallon of water. Remove chain and rinse in WD 40. Hang to dry. Then sharpen. Soak in oil over night, then hang to drip off excess oil. The chains look and feel like new !The 592 is lighter and has noticeably more power than the 395 or the 660. It seems to use considerably less fuel than either my 395 or 660. One thing I did like was the power curve is flatter than my 572. The 572 is a screamer and doesn't have much lugging power, but the 592 has power in the midrange and high range.Humptulips WA. The 630's have the same bore as a husky 61 (48mm) and they do interchange. Same basic crankcase with minor differences depending on the year they were made. The 630's are closed port cylinders while 90% of the 61's are open ports. 630's are a major plus for making more power 4.3 hp stock.

I have 2 saws. A husky 350 and a 372. The 372 mainly to get anything that the 350 can't because it's much easier on gas and easier to handle. Although it would be nicer to have a power head that could fit a 36 inch bar and have more power, but I get by with what I have.

The Stihl PS3 chains are awesome- super sharp and stay sharp an amazingly long time for full chisel. But those are 3/8 LP and I do not know if they make chains with the same features in regular 3/8. "safety" chain cuts just as well as regular even-less-safe chain except for bore cuts. It'll do them but it's slow.

A thick plate of steel a quarter inch or so will work. With holes drilled out for the crank and bar studs. On mine I have a slot cut in the steel that will fit just about every saw ever made. Now all you need is a two jaw puller.
