It has a good amount of of resources (coal, iron, wood, water, plant fiber, animals for food) and some decent thralls in The Den. It's not too far from Shattered Springs (the ... General. Currently our main base is at Godsclaw Passage but we'd like to make a base closer to an obelisk. We were thinking near the sinkhole due to its central location but I've been reading on here that that doesn't really matter and I guess with an obelisk it doesn't. Plus it looks like the purge level is lower there and we enjoy a good purge.
